 My name is Gwenevere Abriel and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). 

I am in the business of putting myself out of business!  The cutting-edge techniques, evidenced-base practices, my knowledge of psychoneurobiology and communication skills will outfit you with the tools/skills and healing foundational to living independently, authentically and adaptive to a changing life context . Everything I have learned through formal training and years of working with clients can be yours. I believe everyone can learn the tools of self-healing and effective interpersonal communication skills.

 

I am happy to explain the psychobiology of an intervention as comfortably as I am to proceed immediately to a technique. I will follow your lead every step of the way. Transference and counter transference embedded in the therapeutic relationship, childhood conditioning as well as the body's felt-sense of muscle tension, gut feelings for example communicate critical data and drive treatment focus. 

 

Psychotherapy is a process of personal discovery promoting solidifying the authentic self, enhancing healthy communication skills, reprocessing trauma histories and experiencing increase vitality in looking to the future.
